Welcome to Air Asia Express. These Terms and Conditions apply to all passengers traveling on flights operated by Air Asia Express. By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Conditions of Carriage.

1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Air Asia Express ("Carrier", "we", "us") and the passenger ("you", "your"). If your journey involves an ultimate destination or stop in a country other than the country of departure, international treaties such as the Warsaw Convention or the Montreal Convention may apply.

2. Booking and Fares

• Fares: Fares apply only for carriage from the airport at the point of origin to the airport at the point of destination. Fares do not include ground transport services between airports and town terminals unless otherwise specified.
• Taxes and Charges: Applicable taxes, fees, and charges imposed by government or other authorities, or by the operator of an airport, shall be payable by you in addition to our fares.
• Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and an itinerary/receipt has been issued.
• Name Changes: Tickets are non-transferable. Name changes are strictly prohibited unless authorized under specific promotional fare rules.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

• Except as explicitly provided in these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws, all fares, taxes, and fees are non-refundable.
• If a passenger fails to travel on the booked flight (No-Show), the ticket will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued for the fare. However, applicable airport taxes may be refunded upon request, subject to an administration fee.
• In the event of a flight cancellation by the Carrier, you will be offered the choice of a full refund, travel credits, or re-accommodation on the next available flight at no additional charge.

4. Baggage Policy

We accept your baggage for carriage subject to the following limitations:

• Cabin Baggage: Passengers are permitted one piece of cabin baggage not exceeding the dimensions of 56cm x 36cm x 23cm, plus one small personal item (e.g., laptop bag, handbag). The combined weight must not exceed 7kg.
• Checked Baggage: Checked baggage allowance is not included in standard fares unless otherwise stated. It can be pre-purchased online at discounted rates or purchased at the airport at standard rates.
• Prohibited Items: Dangerous goods, including flammable liquids, explosives, and lithium batteries in checked baggage, are strictly forbidden.

5. Check-in and Boarding

• Check-in Deadlines: Check-in counters open 2 hours before scheduled departure for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights. Counters close strictly 45 minutes (domestic) and 60 minutes (international) prior to departure.
• Web Check-in: We highly encourage passengers to utilize our Web Check-in facility to avoid queues.
• Boarding Gate: Passengers must be present at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The gate closes 15 minutes before departure. Latecomers will not be allowed to board.

6. Passenger Conduct

If, in our reasonable opinion, you conduct yourself aboard the aircraft so as to endanger the aircraft or any person or property on board, or obstruct the crew in the performance of their duties, or fail to comply with any instructions of the crew, we may take such measures as we deem necessary to prevent continuation of such conduct, including restraint or removal from the aircraft.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any carriage which we agree to provide you (in respect of yourself and/or your Baggage) shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
